Account policies

  • Credit assignments

WorldMark owners can share in the cost of a reservation by assigning credits from one owner account into another, to be used towards a shared vacation.

Any available vacation credits in an owner's account are eligible to be transferred to another owner account. The owner assigning credits must be current on all maintenance dues, loan payments, and reservation fees, as must the recipient of the credits. Credits from future anniversary years are not eligible for assignment. Per WorldMark, The Club Guidelines, all owners are limited to assigning twice their annual credit amount. This limit applies to credits received via assignment as well. A credit assignment is a one-time transfer of credits from one owner account to another, and does not constitute a permanent transfer of credit ownership. Housekeeping services are not eligible for assignment.

    How does this work?
Once two WorldMark owners have agreed to an assignment of credits from one to the other, the owner assigning credits submits a Credit Assignment Request online. Once submitted, the credits will be assigned into the recipient's account within two business days. The credits will appear as Assigned Vacation Credits in the new account, and will retain their original expiration date.

  • Outstanding balances

In the event that your WorldMark account is past due, reservations cannot be made until the balance has been paid in full.

This includes all past due balances for such items as WorldMark dues, TravelShare dues (if applicable), your WorldMark by Wyndham loan (if applicable), and any outstanding reservation fees. If a delinquency remains unresolved, any current reservations may be subject to cancellation. For questions concerning a past due status on your account, please contact:

WorldMark reservation fees – contact the WorldMark Vacation Planning Center at 1-800-457-0103.
Dues and Loans – contact the Financial Services Department at 1-800-691-7289 or make a one-time payment online.

  • Permission addendums

As per WorldMark, The Club Guidelines, anyone who did not sign the Vacation Owner Agreement for the purchase of credits is not considered an owner.

Being a family member of an owner or living in the same residence as an owner does not result in owner rights and usage. However, an owner can grant booking privileges to a non-owner by using a Permission Addendum which must be signed, notarized, and submitted to the Owner Care Department.

    How does this work?
Once the Permission Addendum is on file, the person(s) listed will be able to access and book reservations on your WorldMark account.

    Please note:
A Permission Addendum does not provide online booking privileges to non-owners as these privileges require the owner number and password. To view the Permission Addendum form, please make sure you are logged in.

Resort policies

  • Best Fit Policy

The Best Fit Policy is the automated process of assigning suite numbers at the resort. Suite assignments at WorldMark resorts are not determined by resort staff, reservation agents, or other corporate staff. On the day of arrival, the Best Fit System determines the vacant suites available on that day, as well as suites available for the duration of the reservation. The Best Fit System then assigns suites on the day of check-in based on the original booking date, not on the time of check-in at the resort.

Please contact the WorldMark by Wyndham Vacation Planning Center at 1-800-457-0103 with any questions related to these policies.

  • No smoking

All WorldMark suites, including patios, decks, and balconies, are smoke-free. While smoking and vaping is prohibited in guest suites, it is allowed in designated smoking areas around the property.

    More information.
Owners are responsible and may be charged a fee for any additional time and services needed to clean a unit of smoke residue. Please refer to the WorldMark, The Club Guidelines.

  • Pet guidelines

Service animals that are trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome at all Wyndham Destinations Managed locations. All other animals, trained or untrained, whose sole function is to provide emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companionship do not qualify as service animals and are not permitted at Wyndham Destinations Managed locations.

    More information.

Owners are responsible and may be charged a fee for any additional time and services needed to clean a suite due to an unauthorized pet. Please refer to the WorldMark, The Club Guidelines. Owners may contact the resort for kennel recommendations in the vicinity.
